Autumn is here and the colors are just sensational! This is truly my favorite time of year, as it is for many. Brighten up your home this year by adding autumn colors into your home decor. The use of fresh flowers, potted plants, or silk flowers is an easy and inexpensive way to make your home cheerful and festive for the upcoming holidays.
Potted plants like chrysanthemums will instantly give a color boost inside or out. They look especially nice at the entry way of your home. It says “Welcome” to any visitor during autumn and will make anyone feel at home.
If you use fresh flowers, always remember to add the packet of floral life to the vase or container. It helps to keep your flowers looking fresh and they will last longer.
Silk flowers are cheap and can be reused every year, plus they look great! You can drape vines with autumn leaves over a mantelpiece, mirror or even the tops of your curtains! A lovely basket brimming with silk flowers can grace a dining table, entryway tale, or even your coffee table. Add some small pumpkins and dried corn to your autumn basket for a final touch.
If redecorating your home is too overwhelming, try to just focus on high traffic areas and do a little at a time. Every bit of autumn decorations will count when visitors come into your home, so get crackin!
